Who Are You?
As the principal DevOps Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our custom-designed hosted voice platform. You are:
· A proactive individual willing to take ownership and initiate continuous improvements.
· Curious and investigative, preferring to explore rather than be handed solutions.
· Have a zero down-time attitude
· Passionate about technology, with a commitment to learning daily.
· Experienced in the VoIP sector, looking to bring your knowledge to our team.
Your Strengths:
Your drive for excellence is matched by your:
· Proficiency in Python – a must-have skill for automation and infrastructure management.
· Solid experience with Infrastructure-as-Code practices, specifically using AWS CDK (Python).
· Experience with AWS technologies, including Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, Load Balancing and EventBridge – this is non-negotiable.
· Deep understanding of VoIP platforms like FreeSWITCH or Asterisk.
· Familiarity with SIP protocol, call flows, (S)RTP, etc.
· Fluent in English, both for writing and speaking.
· Creative problem-solving skills, especially for process and reporting optimization.
· Capability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
· Strong communication skills, flexibility, and stress resilience.
· Dependability, punctuality, and a goal-oriented mindset.
· A collaborative spirit, essential for team success.
